How to update spousal information in your profile

A step-by-step guide to update your spouse or common-law partner’s details on your Questrade account.

PC/Mac - Update your spousal information

Step 1: Log-in to your Questrade account.

Step 2: Navigate to the Summary page (If you’re not already there).

If you’re on the trading platform after logging in, simply click “Trading” at the top right, then “Accounts”.

Step 3: Click on your name in the top right corner and select “Profile” from the drop down list.

Step 4: Under the ‘Personal’ tab, choose the relevant marital status, then enter your spouse or common-law partner’s details, then click the green “Save and continue” button at the bottom right of the page to save the information.

Mobile - Update your spousal information

Step 1: Log-in to the Questrade website on your mobile device. (Not the mobile app)

Step 2: Tap on the Menu icon in the top left corner.

Step 3: Tap on the Profile button from the navigation menu

Step 4: Make sure you’re on the “Personal” tab, then scroll down to your marital status & spouse details.

Step 5: Choose the relevant Marital status, then enter your spouse or common-law partner’s details.

Once you’re finished, you can tap the green “Save and Continue” button to finalize your update.
